Hello wazzup! For those who are local football fan, this vlog is for you! On 28th November 2022, I had a chance to watch an International friendly match between Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) vs Borussia Dortmund. This is my first time going to Sultan Ibrahim Stadium (Johor). This stadium is located at Iskandar Puteri (or I can say, near Gelang Patah), Johor and not in the city Of Johor Bahru.
It took about 25 minutes to reach Sultan Ibrahim Stadium from my place at Forest City, Johor. The maximum capacity of this stadium is around 35,000 people. This stadium is the home venue for Johor Darul Takzim team (JDT, or we called it Johor Southern Tigers).
JDT vs Borussia Dortmund match starts at 7pm, so I reach there by 5pm, but quite surprise when the parking is all full (need to park on the side road). In my mind, this is just an International friendly match, so maybe there will be less crowd. Furthermore, they just won Malaysia Cup couple days before in Bukit Jalil Stadium. But, yeah..im wrong. haha
This stadium is really different from their previous stadium (which is, Larkin Stadium, Johor Bahru). Usually, there will be seller who sell burger in stadium, but in this new stadium, they’re selling pop corn (a bit feeling like watching movies).
From far, this stadium is looks like a king crown and very beautiful. This stadium also have cafes and fast food restaurant like Kentucky Fried Chicken KFC.
JDT vs Borussia Dortmund Match Result
Sadly in this match, JDT lose 4-1 to Borussia Dortmund in this game. But both team play very well (Ariff Aiman scores 1 goal for JDT).

How To Go To Stadium Sultan Ibrahim, Johor
Stadium Sultan Ibrahim is located near to Gelang Patah & Lima Kedai, Johor. If you are from Gelang Patah, find four junction in front of 68 Avenue Gelang Patah. While 68 Avenue is on your right, you need to exit left on the four junction and go straight. Stadium Sultan Ibrahim will be on your right side.
