Hello and welcome to gojira.my. In this blog we would like to cover about the next beautiful tourist attraction, which is the new Saloma Link Bridge (or we can called it Saloma Bridge) which have unique designed bridge that connects Kampung Baru and Kuala Lumpur City Center KLCC.

This beautiful bridge has opened on 5th February 2020 and become the talk of the town, namely for social media and also Instagram influencers. The name ‘Saloma’ was taken from the legendary Malaysian-Singaporean singer who are very famous in the late 1950s to the 1960s.

Saloma was also the wife to the iconic Malaysian singer, actor and director; Allahyarham Tan Sri P. Ramlee, who also the most famous artist in the country from the same era.

Where is the Saloma Bridge Located?

The purpose for this bridge was to connect Kampung Baru to Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC) as it now only take 10 minutes to get from one end to the other. The bridge is located just 100 meters – 200 meters from Kampung Baru LRT station (Lorong Raja Muda Musa 3, Kampung Baru) and connect near to Menara Public Bank (from KLCC).

If you come from KLCC / Menara Public Bank, you can see that Saloma bridge is located next to Muslim Cemetary (tanah perkuburan orang Islam). What most people dont know is, this Muslim Cemetary is the place where we can find the legendary Tan Sri P. Ramlee and Saloma graves.

The total length of the Saloma Link Bridge is about 370 meters and the bridge is open 24-hours (the lighting takes place from 7.00pm till 11pm). For best view, we recommend you to visit around 6.30pm till around midnight.

The Saloma Bridge is designed to reflect the Malay culture. The overall design represents the Sirih Junjung or Betelnut Leaf arrangement. The Sirih Junjung is traditionally offered in Malay weddings as a symbol of unity in the Malay culture.

How To Go To Saloma Link Bridge Kuala Lumpur (Saloma Bridge)

From Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur

If you are from Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur, you can find Kampung Baru LRT Station. Saloma Bridge is located just 100 meters from Kampung Baru LRT Station (Lorong Raja Muda Musa 3, Kampung Baru).

From Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC)

If you are from KLCC, you can cross the road and find Menara Public Bank Kuala Lumpur. Then find a road between that Menara Public Bank and NZ Curryhouse KLCC (mamak restaurant). Go along the road until you find a singboard Pintasan Saloma.
